... Mango murabba



How to make Mango murabba... ??


.. Ingredients required... :


~~ Raw mangoes 
~~ Sugar 
~~ Lemon juice 
~~ Cardamoms (seeds only) 
~~ Water 
~~ Kewra (screw pine essence)



Method of preparation... :


.... Wash and cut mangoes into thick pieces ...
....  boil some water ...


... Add mangoes and boil them on low heat for 4 to 5 minutes... 
....Remove the slices and dry them with a clean a piece of cloth ...


... Add sugar and lemon juice to the boiled water...
.... Cook it properly on low flame to form syrup of one thread consistency ....


... Add mango slices in the prepared syrup and cook until mango slices become soft....


Now leave the mixture prepared for 12 hours at room temperature...
... after 12 hours remove the mangoes from the Syrup and add cardamom seeds to the syrup.
... allow it to Boil for 5 minutes ....


.... Now add mango slices and cook it on low heat for few minutes .... 


... Remove from heat and allow it to cool ....
.... Add kewra essence ...






....Aam Ka Muraba is ready.... :)

.. Apple Murabba...

How to make Apple Murabba.... ??


Ingredients required... :


~~ Fresh apples 
~~ Sugar 
~~ Saffron ...

Method of Preparation :



.... Wash apples properly....
....Peel them and cut into desired pieces...


... Poke holes into apple pieces with the help of a needle or fork, carefully ....


... Boil apple pieces till they get smooth and soft...


.... Prepare sugar syrup of one thread consistency ... .


.... Now cook the apples in sugar syrup till it turns thicker....


... Sprinkle saffron on it and allow to cool down...


.... Place Apple Murrabba in airtight jar.





Serve it with meal.... :)


... Amal Murabba Recipe


... How to make Amla murabba... ??

Ingredients Required... :


~~ Fresh amlas 
~~ Citric acid 
~~ Sugar 
~~ Alum ( fitkari )

.. Method of preparation.. :



... Wash amlas properly and perforate all over it with a fork or knife carefully ...


.... Take 2 litres water and dissolve alum in it... Put amlas in this water....
...Soak amlas for a day ....


.. after one day,
Wash the amlas with alum water...
...  Boil amlas for 2 minutes... 
...Remove from heat and leave aside and allow it cool down...


...Make sugar syrup with 3/4 litre water..... make sure you make syrup carefully and considerabely  according to the amount of amlas.. 
...Soak the cooked amlas in the sugar syrup for 24 hrs....


.... Take out amlas from syrup ....


.....Boil the sugar syrup to restore its original consistency.....
...Add citric acid and strain the syrup..... again soak amlas in syrup for 24 hours....



**Repeat the process for 4 days.

**Preserve the murabba in a tight jar...


.... Amla Murabba is ready to be served.... :)



.... Chili Ginger Pickle


How to make Chili Ginger Pickle.. ??

... Ingredients required.. :


~~  Green Chilies (sliced) 
~~  Ginger slices (thin and peeled) 
~~  Lemon Juice 
~~  Salt

... Method of preparation...:



.. in order to prepare chilli ginger pickle, first of all bring chillies and ginger....
wash them properly...
chop them into desired pieces... 


Soak the ingredients in lemon juice... for while...
add salt....


Refrigerate the mixture prepared for 1 hour.....


check for taste... 







... pickle is ready to be served.... :)

... Beetroot pickle



 How to make Beetroot Pickle... ??

Ingredients required.... :


~~  Beetroot 
~~  Fenugreek seeds 
~~  Mustard seeds 
~~  Asfoetida 
~~  Green chillies 
~~  Chilli powder 
~~  Oil 
~~  Vinegar 


~~  Salt to taste....













Method of preparation... :




.. Bring Beetroot's, wash and dry them properly...


... Chop the beetroots and chillies into small pieces and rub the pieces evenly with salt....


... roast fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds in oil taken in a pan, allow cooling and then make a powder of it by grinding ....


.....Mix asfoetida and chili powder with the roated powder of Mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds...


...Heat oil in pan and remove from the flame.
Put the prepared mixture in oil....


...Add beetroots and chillies also...


... Keep it in a bottle containing vinegar and sprinkle salt.


Beetroot Pickle is ready to eat.... :)

.. Apple Pickle



 How to make Apple pickle... ?? 

Ingredients required.... :

~~ Apples


~~ Sugar


~~ Vinegar


~~ Cloves


~~ Cinnamon


Method of preparation :

 ... Bring apples, wash and dry them properly...


.. Peel off the apple skin and dice it into small pieces....


... Combine sugar ,vinegar, cloves and cinnamon in a pot or bowl or saucepan.....
... Bring it to boil, on high flame...
...Reduce the flame and add the apple pieces in the mixture...
..Cook till the apples become tender and the mixture gets thicker...
...Put off the flame, pour the material prepared into sterilized jar....


Allow it cool down.... 


keep in fridge or serve hot... 



Apple pickle is ready to eat... :)





... Spicy Carrot pickle




 How to make Spicy Carrot pickle.... ??


Ingredients required... :



~~ Coriander Powder ..
~~ Mustard Powder ..
~~ Cumin Powder ..
~~ Fenugreek Powder ..
~~ Red Chili Powder ..
~~ Asafetida ..
~~ Salt ..
~~ Carrots (peel & cut) ..
~~ Onions (chopped) ..
~~ Ginger-Garlic Paste ..
~~ dry Red Chilies (broken into pieces) ..
~~ Brown Sugar (or powdered Jaggery) ..
~~ Lemon Juice or Vinegar ..
~~ Black Gram ..
~~ Fenugreek Seeds ..
~~ Oil ..
~~ Mustard Seeds ...
~~ Cumin Seeds ...
~~ Curry Leaves ..




Method of preparation... :



... Bring carrots, wash them with water and then dry them up with the help of a cloth...




...In a blender, make a paste of onion and set it aside.
... Now heat oil and toss mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds and black gram. 
Fry until the seeds splutter...
..Add asafetida, curry leaves and broken red chillies to it...
... Add pasted onion and ginger-garlic paste and cook until it turns brown in color...


...Remove it from heat and allow it to cool...


...Add carrot, lemon juice, salt and other ingredients to the mixture after it cools down.


...Stir it well and spoon it into airtight jar and refrigerate it for an extra crunchy taste...


...Enjoy the pickle after 2 days....  :)

 How to make lemon pickle.... ??


... Ingredients required.... :


~~ Lemon..


~~ Ginger..


~~  Vinegar..


~~ Mustard oil..


~~  Turmeric powder


~~ Red chili pepper


~~ Fenugreek seeds


~~ Mustard seeds


~~ Asafoetida


~~ Salt








Method of preparation.... :




.... Wash lemons properly.. soak them in water for 24 hours
... after 24 hours, remove lemons from water....
..dry them with the help of a cloth...
cut them into pieces.... as desired.. 
... Rub turmeric powder and salt to the lemon pieces and leave it for 5 days...
....After the specific time span, sprinkle red chilli powder, 
sugar over lemon pieces and stir well....


Roast mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and asfoetida, 
grind them into powder.....
... add this powder to the lemons and mix them well....


....Now put this in a jar and keep under sunlight for 10 to 15 days while shaking occasionally....






Lemon pickle is ready ... :)




keep it in a cool and dry place.. !!

... Amla pickle



 How to make Amla pickle.... ??


Ingredients required :

~~ Amla's...
~~ Mustard seeds... 
~~ Green chillies ..
~~ Turmeric powder..
~~ Hing
~~ oil



Method of preparation


... Bring amlas, wash them well...
put them in pressure cooker, allow them to get boiled..
..dice them into desired pieces... 
mix well with chopped  green chillies..
... heat oil...
... now add turmeric powder, hing and mustard seeds in oil...
When mustard seeds start spluttering, add amla-chillies paste and cook for about 5 minutes at low flame....
add salt as desired....










Amla pickle is ready, 
allow it to cool down 
pickle is ready to be served....... :)

.. Mango Pickle


.... raw mangoes... 






How to make mango pickles... ?? 




first of all collect all the ingredients required.  


~~ Raw mangoes ( medium sized )


~~  Red chilli's powder 


~~ Mustered seeds


~~ Salt


~~ Sesame oil


~~ Roasted Fenugreek seeds 


~~ Curry leaves




Method of preparation :


... Bring mangoes, wash them properly, wipe  dry them....
cut them into halves along with the seeds, 
remove the pulp from the seeds...
Dice the mangoes in desired sizes, ensuring that the hard shell is there in each piece inside.


Heat oil in a pan, 
splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves...
add red chilly powder, salt, and fenugreek powder...
now put off heat, 
add mango pieces and toss them well...


Take dry earthen jar and put the mango cubes into it....


Add sesame oil to the mango cubes and mix them well.... 


now keep jar in sunlight for 3 to 4 days....












Mango pickle is ready to be served.... :)
